Evening all! Just wanted to let you know, preparations for the Bulldog Rally tomorrow have went well. It is going to be a tough event and Gywndaf Evans is sure to be one of the favourites with his experience and knowledge of these forests. Barry and I are really happy with how things are going, as we came over a couple of days prior to the event, to relax and get in the right frame of mind. It was great to come early and not have to rush over, settling in has been really easy as a result. The whole team is looking forward to tomorrow and the start of my title defence. The rally will cover 100 stage miles and the event kicks off in the morning (Saturday 27 March) at 7am and concludes at 6.30pm. It should be a brilliant event and I am looking forward to driving the Pirelli Star Car in classic Welsh forestry stages like Sweet Lamb, Hafren, Dyfi and Gartheiniog. Hopefully the weather will remain dry, this would make tyre choices much simpler - but sure we will have to wait and see... Just in case I don't get to thank you in person tomorrow, I am going to do so now - thank you for support as I am sure there will be many of you cheering me on from the roadside. I will try to blog at lunch time to tell you how we are going. Remember, keep the race in its place and I'll see you on the stages! Keith |
