Sweet Lamb, yesterday, was a really good first test. It was great to spend time in the Pirelli Star car and get to know it.

We worked on the suspension settings over the course of the day and found that in the ‘tight stuff’ the Impreza feels more nimble than the Evo does.

As the day took its course, my lines started to come and both Barry and I were pleased with the progression.

The only downside to the test, was that, there was not enough high speed parts but I am sure the famous Grizedale forest on Saturday will have a few.

My engineer, Colm Grant was also very happy with the car and how it performed and we will take these settings into the Malcolm Wilson Rally on Saturday (tomorrow).

As I am running the Zero car on the Malcolm Wilson rally, the job is to the ‘sweep’ the stage for the cars running competitively behind me.

The Malcolm Wilson rally is really a test bed for me and the team but I will be keeping an eye on the times as we head towards the end of the day.

Keep her lit!

Keith.
