I am currently at Sweet Lamb preparing for my first time in the TEG prepared Pirelli Star car, but I wanted to take a time out from my test session to thank all of you who are heading to the fundraising event on Friday night (March 5 2010) at the Gleneagle Hotel Killarney.

Firstly I would like to thank the work that everyone in the organising committee has put in. A special word of thanks must go to John Pat, as the main organiser, you deserve tremendous praise.

Without the support that I have been given from all of you and the excellent backing from Cronin Motorsport I would not be testing the Pirelli Star Car.

A big Thank You goes to all of you – you know who you all are.

I am eager to make this year count and I am excited about testing the new car on such a good complex.

Sweet Lamb is a motor sport testing facility that specialises in testing rally cars and motorsport vehicles.

The complex is set in the heart of Mid Wales and offers over 20 miles of world class gravel and tarmac road stages ideally suited to testing all aspects of rally cars and off-road vehicles.

So the test will be as thorough as possible and as soon as I finish testing, I will be heading up to Cumbria to prepare for the Malcolm Wilson Rally.
