Welcome to the new look Cronin Motorsport website. There are many new features to this revamped site, one of which is this new blog where I will personally keep you up to date on my progress during the coming year. This year, I will be competing in the British Rally Championship, the first round of which is the Bulldog Rally on the 28th of March. This will be my first time contesting this championship and I am really looking forward to the task ahead. My plan for the year is to try to get a good championship result, as well as try to set some quick stage times against the professional drivers such as Guy Wilks and Mark Higgins. It won’t be easy competing against these guys but it will be a very exciting challenge for me.As some of you might already know, I competed in the U.K. Evo Challenge in 2008, in which I learnt a lot about the British terrain. They are some fantastic and challenging stages, and they are great fun to drive on. Hopefully what I have learnt in 2008 will help me as I try to take on the best in Britain in 2009. Before the championship starts, I hope to take part in the Mitchelstown Forestry Rally on the 8th of February, and on the West Cork Rally on the 14th and 15th of March. I will be doing these events in order to get ‘match fit’ for the Championship. Thank you for visiting and I hope I will see you on the stages! |
